The 2024 Kia Telluride is equipped with an advanced suite of Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) technologies designed to enhance driver safety. Standard across all trims, the FCA system includes pedestrian and cyclist detection, as well as Junction Turning, which helps prevent collisions when making left turns at intersections. Higher trims offer additional features such as Junction Crossing, which detects cross traffic at intersections; Lane Change Oncoming and Lane Change Side, which assist in avoiding collisions during lane changes; and Evasive Steering Assist, which aids in steering to avoid obstacles ahead.

The 2024 Kia Telluride comes standard with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) across all trims. This system utilizes rear-mounted sensors to detect approaching vehicles from either side while reversing. If cross traffic is detected, RCCA provides visual and audible alerts to the driver and can automatically apply the brakes to help prevent a collision. This feature enhances safety when backing out of parking spaces or driveways by monitoring areas that may be difficult for the driver to see.

The 2024 Kia Telluride features a comprehensive Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) system, standard across all trims. Utilizing rear corner radar sensors, BCW monitors adjacent lanes for vehicles in the driver’s blind spots. When a vehicle is detected, the system provides visual alerts via indicators on the side mirrors and emits audible warnings if the driver signals a lane change while another vehicle is present. This multi-stage alert system is designed to enhance driver awareness and reduce the risk of collisions during lane changes. Additionally, in certain scenarios, the system can apply selective braking to help prevent potential accidents.

The 2024 Kia Telluride comes standard with Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go across all trims. This advanced system utilizes navigation data to anticipate road conditions, such as upcoming curves, and automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed for safer and smoother driving. It also adapts to changing speed limits on highways, ensuring compliance without driver intervention. In stop-and-go traffic, the system can bring the vehicle to a complete stop and resume movement as traffic conditions allow, enhancing convenience and reducing driver fatigue during long drives
The 2024 Kia Telluride offers two versions of its Highway Driving Assist (HDA) system to enhance highway driving safety and convenience. Standard on the LX, S, EX, and EX X-Line trims, HDA combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering to help maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and keep the Telluride centered within its lane on highways. On higher trims—SX, SX X-Line, SX X-Pro, and SX Prestige—Kia equips the Telluride with Highway Driving Assist 2 (HDA 2), which adds advanced features such as automatic lane changing and improved steering assistance. HDA 2 utilizes navigation data and machine learning to provide a more seamless and semi-autonomous driving experience on supported highways.

360° Surround View Monitor

The Surround View Monitor (SVM) in the Kia Sportage SUV enhances parking and low-speed maneuvering by providing a 360-degree view.
